Big Screen Projection - Negative Remix - Graeme Clark - 2010

Negative Remix came about through thinking about authority, mainly the authority that adults have over children. I began selecting words or phrases that would commonly be used by an adult when telling a child not to do something. I chose to use just the mouth to convey the sense of authority as when you are younger it is often a source of commands. You look toward the adults mouth when they speak. I also chose to display the video on a projection screen above the viewer to again reiterate a feeling of authority.
