1 Thing Each Day…

Your Black Horizon - Olafur Eliasson in collaboration with David Adjaye - 2005

Your Black Horizon – 2005

LED lights (red, green, blue), daylight, control unit, aluminium, translucent acrylic, and wood

I found this piece this morning through a blog I follow and thought it was really interesting. I like the idea of work that is controlled by the things around it. Obviously this work doesn’t exist outside where the light is and I suppose that is my only problem with it. It does however bring the light into the space of an otherwise dark space. I can relate to this work through my work Sunlight 16 as I am due to show the work in an equally dark space environment. Can’t wait!
