Nowhere - Graeme Clark - 2011

This is the 3rd work I am presenting in my degree show this year.

Juxtaposition is a large part of my interest in language and text artwork. I think that the juxtaposition of terms between the words ‘nowhere’ and ‘now’ and ‘here’.

The work is very bright and showing it in the grey cube I have made, adds an interesting light change to the space. It is really important to me that the space creates contrasts in sound and light. This work is also the only ‘silent’ piece in the show. It therefore has the ability to change the entire dynamic of the space which is largely focused on outdoor sound.
